The era of "big megawatt" of wind power bearing

Editor: Changzhou Hongshan bearing factory Release Date:2019-10-18 16:52:38 Hits:64

As one of the two most difficult parts of wind turbine, the domestic market of wind turbine bearing is still half occupied by foreign enterprises. Not long ago, when Dongfang Electric's 10MW offshore wind turbine was put offline, the 185m diameter impeller "Big Mac" brought China's wind power manufacturing industry to a new high point.

However, most of the witnesses at the Three Gorges Industrial Park in Fujian may not know that although Dongfang Electric has overcome the difficulties of large blades and generators successively, the supporting bearing of this "great power heavy equipment" still comes from abroad.

According to Dongfang Electric insiders, Schaeffler, a German automobile bearing enterprise, produces generator bearings for it, while the pitch bearing and yaw bearing are manufactured by de Fengdan (Qingdao) Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "de Fengdan (Qingdao)").

Since the start of China's wind power industry, the localization of equipment has always been the main theme. However, as one of the two most difficult parts of wind turbine, China's wind turbine bearing market is still occupied by half of the foreign enterprises. What's more, the field of high-end wind power bearing has long been shrouded in the cloud of monopoly of foreign enterprises such as SKF, FAG, rotaid and Schaeffler. With the start of the era of megawatt wind turbine, China's wind power bearing industry, which has weak foundation, may face new impact.

Wind power bearing - missing megawatt

At present, the huge megawatt wave of offshore wind power seems to have not really affected the wind power bearing industry.
